Flayed view of the Vade tower in Carcassonne. The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
This is a circular tower with three cross-vaulted levels and two additional floor levels. It is covered by a wooden roof structure. The upper section features hoardings and machicolations.
