Flayed view of the underpinning of a wall. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The drawing depicts a double wall under construction. In the lices, workers are digging up the earth to clear the walls, while others are working underneath on scaffolding. The battlements are also being rebuilt.
