Aerial view of the Bordeaux market in the 15th c. The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor, ink and graphite are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The scene depicts the market square. Wooden stalls are placed around the square, and some vendors have set up their wares on the ground on a piece of cloth. At the end of a street on the left, the Porte Saint-Eloi can be seen.
