Aerial view of the Behbeit el Hagar Iseum. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
On the banks of the Nile stands the Iseum. This is a temple dedicated to Isis. It is set within a brick enclosure opened by four portals onto a second enclosing wall, in which the temple is located. The surrounding landscape is lush and green, under the setting sun.
