Aerial view of the amphitheater, necropolis, via Agrippa and surrounding area, Augustoritum Lemovicum (Limoges). The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor and graphite are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The lower part of the drawing shows a necropolis with mausoleums. To the left, the Via Agrippa leads through the city, part of which can be seen in the upper part of the drawing. In the center of the drawing, the amphitheater is depicted during a performance: the stands are filled with spectators and a fight is taking place in the arena.
