The town lies within a fortified enclosure. A river, the Meyne, runs through it. The theater stands on the northern slope of the hill of Saint-Eutrope, in the center of the city. It is preceded by a portico and a courtyard. The forum is next to it. It comprises a temple, a portico, a vast courtyard and a main building. Residential quarters were built around it. Outside the city, you can see an amphitheatre and cultivated fields as far as the eye can see.
