Presentation :

Front view of Apollonia’s fortifications. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame, partly drawn in ink.
The surrounding wall is punctuated by semicircular and quadrangular towers. It is crowned with battlements and a parapet walk. The enclosure is pierced by gates. One of them is visible on the left. The ramparts are bordered by an outer path, with figures walking along it in the foreground.
