Presentation :

Bird’s-eye view of the pre-Roman ramparts of Ambrussum. The drawing is in landscape format and has no frame. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The ramparts are shown in the light of dusk. In the foreground, a male figure is walking along a dirt track along the ramparts of the Ambrussum oppidum. These fortifications are built of large stones. They are punctuated at regular intervals by semicircular towers.
