Aerial view of Ambrussum. The drawing is in portrait format. It is arranged within an ink frame. Traces of watercolor, ink and graphite are visible in the margins.
The lower part of the drawing depicts a residential area in Ambrussum. This is a roadhouse. It is located along the Via Domitia. The upper section shows the Ambroix bridge, which enabled traffic to cross the Vidourle river. Built of stone, it comprises nine large semicircular arches.
