This is a naval monument built by Octavian to commemorate the victory at Actium. It stands on a double terrace. The building comprises a colonnaded portico arranged around a U-shaped courtyard, at the center of which is an altar. The façade faces the sea and is decorated with the spurs of ships captured from the enemy.
