Aerial view of the Niousserê solar temple in Abu Gorab. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
Built on a site overlooking the valley, the temple stands inside a fortified enclosure with a monumental gate. It consists of a pyramidal base topped by an obelisk. The rising road leads to the village, located in the lower part of the drawing. In the distance lies the desert.
