Aerial view of the pyramids and solar temples of Taposiris Magna (Abousir). The drawing is in landscape format and has no frame. Inscriptions are visible on the reverse.
A verdant valley unfolds to the right of the drawing. In the center, six pyramids stand out in the desert. The first, on the left, is still under construction, with only the first foundations in place. This is the Rêneferet pyramid. A smaller pyramid, dedicated to Queen Khentkaous, stands to its left. Next to it stands the funerary complex of Neferirkarê-Kakaï. The pyramid is flanked by a funerary temple. The fourth pyramid is the funerary complex of Néouserrê-Ini. Finally, the pyramid of
Sahourê. Behind it is the presumed pyramid of Chepseskarê, of which only the foundations can be seen. In the upper part of the drawing, you can see the two solar temples with their obelisks, that of Userkaf and the larger one of Néouserrê-Ini.
