Presentation :

Front view of a thermopolium. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The space is organized around an L-shaped counter on which are placed various containers holding drinks and food. On one side of the counter sit customers enjoying a meal, while on the other side waiters prepare and serve the food. In the background are dolia, for holding and preserving food, and crockery: vase, cup, amphora, beaker, bowl. Fish, meat and herbs hang from a gallows.
