View of the Romanesque church at Conques. The drawing is in portrait format and has no frame. Inscriptions appear on the drawing.
The drawing shows the plan, section and elevation of the Romanesque church at Conques. The building is built on a Latin cross plan. A sculpted portal, framed by towers, precedes the central nave, flanked by two aisles. The projecting transept features apsidioles. The transept crossing is covered by a dome topped by an eight-sided tower. Around the choir is an ambulatory with radiating chapels.
